우리나라 연구소에서 여러 산업기술을 연구하다 해외로 유출시킨 산업스파이들이 지속적으로 적발되고 있습니다. 올해는 특별단속이 실시되어 적발 건수가 많이 늘어났는데요. 그만큼 유출 사례도 지속적으로 늘고 있다고 해요.

산업스파이 특별 단속 실시 및 적용죄명은 무엇이 있을까?

현재 한국에서 경찰의 특별단속 결과 지난 2월부터 6월 총 4개월동안에만 도무 77명의 산업스파이들이 적발되었습니다. 경찰은 경제안보위해범죄 경제안보수사 TF팀을 신설하여 특별단속을 실시하였는데요. 이는 지난해 같은 기간보다 건수로 12건이나 늘어난 결과라고 하네요. 적용죄명은 영업 비밀 유출 사건이 26건, 업무상 배임과 산업기술 유출 등이 그 뒤를 이었다고 해요. 

 

경찰 산업스파이 특별 단속 언제까지 진행되나? 특별 단속 기술은 무엇이 있을까?

경찰은 우리 기술 유출 행위 엄단을 위해 10월까지 특별단속을 계속 진행할 예정이라고 하는데요. 특히 반도체나 자동차, 조선 등 국내 핵심 기업, 혹은 핵심 기업들의 기술 유출 및 산업 스파이범죄에 강력 대응할 예정이라고 해요.

산업스파이로 인하여 기술이 유출되었다면 어디로 신고해야 할까?

산업기술이 유출되거나 의심되는 등 피해를 입었다면 경찰청 누리집이나 가까운 경찰서 안보계 등을 통해 적극 신고가 필요합니다. 기술 유출 이후 타국으로 온가족이 이주하거나 잠적하는 경우가 많기 때문에 즉각적인 신고 및 대응이 굉장히 중요하다고 하는데요. 해외로 이직하거나 급하게 퇴사하는 등 수상한 행보를 보이는 연구원이나 직원들이 있으면 의심해 봐야 할 것 같네요.

As global technological competition intesifies, there have been frequent attempts to steal our industrial technology. According to the special ①crackdown by the police, a total of 77 industrial spices were caught in the past four months alone.
